Perfumery Sales Person (m/f/x)
You love to provide advice while selling well more than just a beauty product? Then you might just be the perfect perfumery sales person for our stores. We meticulously train you in the fields of scent, decorative cosmetics and skin care and offer you a broad range of sales trainings. Customer-oriented thinking and acting has always been our focus because happy customers will usually come back.
The FactsTime for you:The completion of your apprenticeship will take 2 years and takes place at our stores and in professional school

Retail Salesperson (m/f/x)
Love to make a career? How about becoming a retail salesperson at Douglas and taking over true managerial responsibility later. In plain language: without you, nothing works in store. To be properly prepared for anything, we offer you a peek behind the scenes during your apprenticeship, for example in finance or other exciting divisions.
The FactsTime for you:The completion of your apprenticeship takes 3 years and will take place at our stores and in professional school
Short-Cut:You’ve got Fachhochschulreife or Abitur? This might lead to a possible reduction to a total training-duration of 1,5 or 2 years
Sales talent:Your focus lies on consulting and sales
You live, you learn:We meticulously train you in the fields of scent, decorative cosmetics and skin care
Always by your side:We offer you helpful and diverse sales trainings
The road to success:You will learn customer-oriented thinking and acting

Commercial Specialist in Distribution and Retail (m/f/x)
You are capable of doing more and you want more? Maybe an apprenticeship as a commercial specialist is right down your alley. A commercial specialist is like a master of his own trade. At Douglas we call them our future store and area managers. In essence, you will get a small round of studies for business administration for free and would theoretically be able to start and run your own retail business. Until then, this type of further education will offer a solid base for working in Human Resources and/or our buying divisions to which you may move up to upon completion of the program and having worked in retail for a bit. Now that doesn’t sound too bad, does it?

How we do it
You want to become an apprentice right here at Douglas? Cool. We will take you through the application process, step by step.
First Step: Pre-Selection
You handed in your application with all relevant and required documents? Great! We will check if you really didn’t forget anything because it’s important to us right from the start, to receive a complete application from you. Why you would like to be trained at Douglas as well as your school grades are of particular interest to us. A self-made video from you about yourself is a perfect way for us to get to know more about you as a person. But don’t overthink it and take all the time you need. After all, there’s no second chance to make a first impression. We from the NEXT GEN are all digital – so why not apply with a reel?Short Trip: The Short-Term Internship
The last obstacle will throw you into the deep waters. To make sure whether you have what it takes to become part of the NEXT GEN BEHIND BEAUTY, we would like to see you in action. During a 3-day internship you not only get an exact impression of everyday life at a Douglas store, but we get to know a lot about you, your personality and your behaviour in a team. After the internship we won’t let you wait for long and inform you as soon as possible, whether you successfully mastered the application process and you will finally be part of the NEXT GEN at Douglas.
Challenge Accepted: The Douglas Challenge
The first obstacle is out of the way? Then it’s time for you to take part in the Douglas Challenge. But don’t worry, because we’re not asking for rocket science and you don’t even have to take a road trip – you can easily take the online test from the comfort of your home. The questions are centered around the everyday tasks in retail. Plus you will learn interesting facts about Douglas as a company and our store organisation.
